About Us

The schools

Our five schools are members of a school partnership project funded by the EU Erasmus+ programme. The project is called: Shared Voices – connecting communities in the digital age, and is a project designed to teach pupils the skills necessary for producing journalistic material. It is also designed to strengthen community ties through a digital journal and associated community projects.

The aim is to produce a series of ten journals bi-monthly over a period of two years, which are entirely written by pupils from our schools. As the editions progress, the pupils will become better at writing, editing, planning and researching. In the second year of the project pupils will also learn the IT skills necessary to construct the layout of the journal and also work with local communities on projects to enhance their environments.
